Ellehuset is a unique holiday home of 240 square meters furnished with plenty of space for 10 people. The holiday home is located on a 53,000 square metre plot surrounded by trees, bushes, forest and its own lake. Take a trip in the small rowing boat on the lake and enjoy the wonderful holiday life on Bornholm.
Look forward to a wonderful holiday in the delicious and architect-designed house, which was completely renovated in 2021. Ellehuset offers, among other things, 5 beautiful bedrooms, a large kitchen with a dining area for you all, a beautiful living room and sofa area and, not least, a lovely activity room with table tennis and table football, where the whole family can have a good time.
Ellehuset is peacefully located in the beautiful Bornholm countryside close to Balka Beach. Balka Beach is very child-friendly due to its shallow water depth, and the sand is some of Bornholm's finest. In the summer, the beach is home to water activities where you can learn to surf, kitesurf, or try a paddle board. From Balka Strand you can walk on to the small cozy fishing village of Snogebæk, where you will find restaurants, cafes, small shops with Bornholm specialties and shopping opportunities. Ellehuset is close to a bicycle rental. Rent a bike and experience Bornholm's extensive network of cycle paths, which start almost right at Ellehuset. For example, try the cozy trip to Nexø, which is Bornholm's second largest city. Here you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and shopping opportunities. Ellehuset is a beautiful holiday home in a lovely area, where you are close to all the good Bornholm holiday experiences.
When you rent Ellehuset, cleaning on arrival/departure as well as electricity, water and heating consumption are included in your rental price. This way you avoid the large extra bills that other rental agencies have, while you avoid the hassle of having to clean yourself. Ellehuset is also a low-energy house, so you can also have a wonderful holiday on Bornholm with a clear green conscience.

* Number of bedrooms: You will find one bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed (sleeps 2), and 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor with two beds each (sleeps 6). In addition, there is a bedroom in the annex with a double bed (sleeps 2).
* Number of bathrooms: There is both a bathroom on the ground floor and on the 1st floor. Both with shower, toilet and underfloor heating.
* Terrace: Yes, there are 2 terraces on each side of the house as well as a terrace by the lake. All with garden furniture.
* Barbecue: A gas grill is available at one of the terraces.
* Appliances: Ceramic stove, 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and 250 litre freezer
* Laundry facilities: Yes, Ellehuset has both a washing machine and a dryer.
* Internet: Yes, Ellehuset has free internet.
* Electric charging station: Ellehuset has its own charging station for electric cars. Electricity consumption for charging electric cars is not included in the rental price, but you can charge for DKK 5 per kWh.

* Arrival day: In the period 2 July - 13 August, Sunday is the day of arrival/departure. In other periods, you are generally free to choose the day of arrival of the week. In some periods, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day due to the other bookings at Ellehuset. Outside the period 2 July - 13 August, you generally do not need to rent for whole weeks, so that you can also take mini-breaks of 3-5 nights. This gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday completely according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
* Arrival and departure time: You can enter the cottage from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the cottage no later than 10:00 so that we can have the cottage cleaned for the next guests.
